We warmly invite you to join us for a free, nourishing meal in a safe and inclusive space — no cost, no discrimination, no questions asked.

At the heart of this initiative is the belief that food brings people together — everyone deserves the warmth of a shared meal.

✨ You’re welcome to stay and share a meal with us or take it to go — the choice is yours.
👩‍🍳 On the menu: pasta with tomato sauce, minced halal chicken & vegetables
🥦 Vegetarian and vegan options available — all dietary needs are considered.
🥤 Free lemonade, coffee, and water will also be served.

Σας προσκαλούμε θερμά να συμμετάσχετε μαζί μας για ένα δωρεάν, θρεπτικό γεύμα σε έναν ασφαλή και χωρίς αποκλεισμούς χώρο – χωρίς κόστος, χωρίς διακρίσεις, χωρίς ερωτήσεις.
Στο επίκεντρο αυτής της πρωτοβουλίας βρίσκεται η πεποίθηση ότι το φαγητό φέρνει τους ανθρώπους κοντά – όλοι/ες αξίζουν τη ζεστασιά ενός κοινού γεύματος.

Nous vous invitons chaleureusement à nous rejoindre pour un repas gratuit et nourrissant dans un espace sûr et inclusif – sans frais, sans discrimination, sans poser de questions.

Au cœur de cette initiative se trouve la conviction que la nourriture rapproche les gens – tout le monde mérite la chaleur d’un repas partagé.

✨ Vous pouvez rester et partager un repas avec nous ou l’emporter – c’est vous qui choisissez.

🤝 On Saturday, 29/03/2025, Mission Solidarity and the 99th Maronite Scout Unit joined forces for a special act of solidarity!
Through a heartfelt gathering, we spoke with the children about migration and asylum, acceptance, and the value of giving. Together we learned, laughed, and created! ❤

At the end, we prepared care packages with food and hygiene items for people in need — a beautiful act of care and solidarity, initiated by the Scouts themselves, who had collected all the items with dedication and enthusiasm! 🥫🧼🎁

As the founder of Scouting once said:
“Try and leave this world a little better than you found it.”
And yesterday, we did — together. 💛

Συλλογή Τροφίμων & Αγαθών για Άτομα σε Ανάγκη

Το Σαββατο, 29/03/2025, η Mission Solidarity και το 99ο Σύστημα Προσκόπων Μαρωνιτών ενώσαμε δυνάμεις για μια ξεχωριστή δράση αλληλεγγύης!

Μέσα από μια ζεστή συνάντηση, μιλήσαμε με τα παιδιά για τη μετανάστευση και το άσυλο, την αποδοχή και την αξία της προσφοράς. Μαζί μάθαμε, γελάσαμε και δημιουργήσαμε! ❤

Στο τέλος, ετοιμάσαμε πακέτα με τρόφιμα και είδη υγιεινής για ανθρώπους που το έχουν ανάγκη – μια πράξη αλληλεγγύης και φροντίδας που ξεκίνησε από τους ίδιους τους Προσκόπους, οι οποίοι συνέλεξαν τα αγαθά με μεράκι και ενθουσιασμό! 🥫🧼🎁

Όπως είπε και ο ιδρυτής του Προσκοπισμού:
«Προσπάθησε να αφήσεις τον κόσμο λίγο καλύτερο απ’ ό,τι τον βρήκες.»
Και χθες, το κάναμε – μαζί. 💛

Over 300 People Supported in Q1 2025 Through Our Food Assistance Program

No one should be left behind when it comes to something as essential as food.
Through our community food drive in the first quarter of 2025, we supported more than 300 individuals—including 112 children—from 84 households.

Each package contains essential food items—such as rice, flour, baby food, tomato sauce, chocolates, and cornflakes—and hygiene products such as pads and soap.

To ensure no one is left behind, we deliver directly to the homes of those who need us most, helping to overcome barriers like limited access to transportation.

Together, we’re building a more caring and inclusive community—one package at a time. ❤

Συλλογή Τροφίμων & Αγαθών για Άτομα σε Ανάγκη

Μέσω της κοινοτικής εκστρατείας μας για τρόφιμα κατά το πρώτο τρίμηνο του 2025, υποστηρίξαμε περισσότερα από 300 άτομα -συμπεριλαμβανομένων 112 παιδιών- από 84 νοικοκυριά.

Κάθε πακέτο περιέχει βασικά είδη διατροφής -όπως ρύζι, αλεύρι, παιδικές τροφές, σάλτσα ντομάτας, σοκολάτες και κορνφλέικς- και προϊόντα υγιεινής, όπως σερβιέτες και σαπούνι.

Για να διασφαλίσουμε ότι κανείς δεν μένει πίσω, παραδίδουμε απευθείας στα σπίτια εκείνων που μας χρειάζονται περισσότερο, βοηθώντας να ξεπεραστούν εμπόδια όπως η περιορισμένη πρόσβαση σε μεταφορικά μέσα.

Μαζί, χτίζουμε μια πιο στοργική και χωρίς αποκλεισμούς κοινότητα – ένα πακέτο τη φορά. ❤

The 99th Maronite Scout System in cooperation with Mission Solidarity CY is organizing a collection of food and essentials to support those in need!
📌 Who benefits?
  • People facing serious financial difficulties
  • Cypriot citizens in precariousness
  • Refugees and migrants
  • Single mothers and disadvantaged families

📦 What can you offer?

  • Long-life food (rice, pasta, pulses, canned food, dried fruit)
  • Personal hygiene products (soap, toilet paper, baby wipes, sanitary napkins)
  • Diapers and baby products

All products will be delivered directly by Mission Solidarity volunteers to homes of people who need them, after being packed with care by the Scouts of the 99th Maronite Scout System.

Το 99ο Σύστημα Προσκόπων Μαρωνιτών σε συνεργασία με Mission Solidarity CY διοργανώνει συλλογή τροφίμων και ειδών πρώτης ανάγκης για τη στήριξη όσων το έχουν ανάγκη!
📌 Ποιοι ωφελούνται;
  • Άτομα που αντιμετωπίζουν σοβαρές οικονομικές δυσκολίες
  • Κύπριοι πολίτες σε επισφάλεια
  • Πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες
  • Μόνες μητέρες και οικογένειες σε μειονεκτική θέση

📦 Τι μπορείτε να προσφέρετε;

  • Τρόφιμα μακράς διαρκείας (ρύζι, ζυμαρικά, όσπρια, κονσέρβες, αποξηραμένα φρούτα)
  • Προϊόντα ατομικής υγιεινής (σαπούνι, χαρτί υγείας, μωρομάντηλα, σερβιέτες)
  • Πάνες και βρεφικά είδη

Όλα τα προϊόντα θα παραδοθούν απευθείας από τους εθελοντές της Mission Solidarity σε σπίτια ανθρώπων που τα χρειάζονται, αφού πρώτα συσκευαστούν με φροντίδα από τους Προσκόπους του 99ου Συστήματος Προσκόπων Μαρωνιτών.

Στηρίξτε την αλληλεγγύη. Μαζί μπορούμε να κάνουμε τη διαφορά.

Somalia Country Presentation & Social Gathering 07/03/2025

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible evening celebrating the culture and resilience of Somalia! 💙
On Friday, March 7th, we explored Somalia’s rich history, traditions, and contemporary realities through an engaging presentation, traditional music, clothing, and dance. The night ended with a shared meal of delicious Somali food, fostering connection and cultural exchange.

This event took place under the Unity in Diversity project, coordinated by Solidarity CY and funded by the European Solidarity Corps. A huge thank you to YALLA Collective Space & Café and all the participants who made this gathering so special.
