Art has the power to spark dialogue, strengthen communities, and inspire action.

We were delighted to participate in the Art Work(s) Forum organised by YEU Cyprus, where artists, civil society organisations, and community members came together to explore how creativity can drive social change and active citizenship.

During the forum, we shared Mission Solidarity’s perspective on the role of civil society in fostering inclusion, participation, and community engagement. We were also excited to screen our animation created as part of the UNMUTE: Because Democracy Doesn’t Work in Silence project, highlighting the importance of youth voices, democratic participation, and standing up against silence in the face of social challenges.

The discussions continued beyond the forum during the Community Music Jam, where people came together through hip hop, rebetiko, African djembe, and other musical traditions.

A big thank you to YEU Cyprus for organising such a meaningful event and to everyone who took part in the discussions, performances, and music throughout the day. We were happy to be part of it!
