Cameroon Country Presentation & Social Gathering

On June 27th, we spent a beautiful evening celebrating the vibrant culture and people of Cameroon! 🇨🇲
Guests enjoyed traditional Cameroonian dishes prepared by members of the community, alongside a heartfelt presentation on the country’s rich history and traditions.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create a warm, inclusive, and intercultural space!

The event took place under the Unity in Diversity project coordinated by Solidarity Cy with the support of Mission Solidarity and Bridge of Hope. Co-funded by the EU.

Community Kitchen 22/06/2025

Our third Community Kitchen with AFOA and Yalla Collective Space took place this Sunday – another day of community and delicious food.

Together, we served over 140 portions of freshly prepared meals (Mexican style chicken/ soya, vegetables and rice) to more than 120 people, followed by 100+ slices of watermelon!

Huge thanks to everyone who helped prepare, cook and serve – and to everyone who shared the day with us.

Our second Community Kitchen with Afoa and Yalla Collective Space took place this Sunday — a day filled with solidarity and good food. Together, we served over 130 portions of home-cooked food to more than 100 people, followed by 200 delicious donuts for dessert!

On May 3rd, we gathered to celebrate the culture, history, and spirit of Nigeria through a country presentation and a warm social gathering. Everyone enjoyed free traditional Nigerian food, meaningful conversations, and good company.

For the first event of the Flavors for Change project, we’re gathering to share traditional Afghan food. Afghan refugees will be preparing a traditional meal for everyone to enjoy, bringing the rich flavours of their culture straight to the heart of our community.

This event is all about inclusion, cultural exchange and solidarity.

The food is free and everyone is welcome!

For our fifth Country Presentation, we’re excited to explore the rich culture and history of Nigeria together.
 
The evening will begin with a short and engaging presentation about the country—its people, traditions, and stories.
 
After the presentation, we’ll gather to enjoy traditional Nigerian food (all for free!) and listen to music from the region. Whether you’re familiar with Nigeria or discovering it for the first time, you’re warmly invited.
